The film is about a working-class town in 1984, where it deals with the story of a high school senior between him and his senseless father and mentoring adviser. Things turn to this person when meeting a goddess helps him reveal his true destiny.
While some of the genuine articles sporadically earned chuckles with vulgar sight gags and gratuitous nudity, "Pitching Tents" is too timorous to risk being truly offensive.
