The family film speaks of dramatic situations where a respected young lawyer, Matt Fleming, is sent out of the city to the forest by his mother, who is concerned about the well-being of Jack's very eccentric nature-loving Jack. Not surprisingly, he died in a completely cultural shock. Not only is Jack without any modern amenities, but he also enjoys a great outdoor touring completely naked. In an attempt to reduce Jack's enthusiasm and control the behavior of the old man, Matt instead ends up learning about how to defend himself in the wild, a skill Matt also applies to what he learned from Jack in his efforts to constantly commit to his own friend Linda.
