In order to save her sister Mirra from an unknown disease, Ayia has to try penetrating into Mirra's sick subconscious mind and discovery of the true cause of her disease. Ayia is ready to go through this terrifying ritual, dive into the depths of the subconscious mind, and face the demons residing there.
...may ultimately feel abstract to the point of emptiness, but it is an aesthete's wet nightmare. Like Tarsem Singh's The Cell, or Christopher Nolan's Inception reimagined by Andrei Tarkovsky, III's vision is beautifully, headily captivating.
