Running an illegal casino brings many terrible for Sugar, the casino owner, who has many enemies and his casino has gained a huge popularity, the thing that makes his enemies' rage and leads them to fight him, so he struggles with the corrupted police officers, fighting his enemies, and saving his business.
An uninspired cross between Cotton Club and the characters of Damon Runyon, told in cliches so broad you keep waiting for it to poke fun at itself, but it never does.
