Something strange was found by a group of friends while collecting unwanted things. She may be a strange figure, an evil poet called Slappy, who will kidnap Sonny's mother on a brutal night full of demons. Sonny joins his friends to bring back his mother, who was kidnapped by that savage doll again.
The biggest failure of this series, particularly in this entry, is that Columbia Pictures and Sony have lost the spirit of what made the Goosebumps novels popular and entertaining; the horror.
"Goosebumps 2" is a slapdash sequel to the 2015 hit, picking up with a new group of kids but carrying over the same sense of Halloween fun and mischief as the original.
The premise is weak, and moviegoers are left with a lot of Halloween-themed mayhem with no substance - but that mayhem may be right up the younger kids' alley.
