After many of the injuries and blows Doug received as a good hockey player, was sidelined away, decided to get married and started a new life as a salesman. On the other hand, Doug's only opponent is Andres Kane, the leader of Highlanders, threatening to tear his former team apart. Doug wants to go back to work, ignoring the wishes of Eva's wife and going to the skating rink again with a new idea and a stronger training and may pass many conflicts that stand in his way
So while this one might not feel quite as exciting as discovering a new sports comedy classic, there's always something to be said for a sequel that captures the spirit of the original and forges some new ground of its own.
