Struggling against revealing a dark secret, Marty, a young smart boy, who lives with his family, whose life turns upside down, when knows that his older brother is a serial killer, the thing that challenges him, as he doesn't know how to deal with the matter.
Found takes its film-buff inspiration from the likes of early De Palma, Argento or Cronenberg. They are hard acts to follow, but Schirmer knows his stuff. Found is a singularly sick, sad story and announces the filmmaker as a notable talent.
...Found refuses to dig deeply into its chosen themes and consequently finds little reason - outside of servicing genre fans' gore fetishism - to exist.
