The life of Regan MacNeil, a young beautiful girl, who four years ago, suffers from being haunted by demons, but she is treated, struggles against being attacked again, has been turned upside down, when a priest comes to help her, as they face the horrible attack of demons.
Compelling reasons for watching Exorcist II? Well, there's Richard Burton's voice. Then, there's...uh.... Oh, forget it. There are no reasons for watching this film.

Very enjoyable in retrospect, and a big improvement on its source material.

118 minutes of endless flashy-light hypnotism, staggeringly terrible locust effects, and Richard Burton wandering around what appears to be Tatooine.
Just plain silly but has a sort of bad movie charm.

One fascinating disaster--an anti-Exorcist sequel from a filmmaker openly contemptuous of the original.

A strange and off-putting experience, filled with endless miscalculations in nearly every detail it attempts to build up, including performances by actors who ought to have known better.
