Because the development process of human threatens to devastate the forest, outraged animals find their doctor friend Dolittle for helping. He attempts to save their life and rescues a lone endangered bear.
Often tedious, occasionally cheap looking and always unimaginative, this should certainly put paid to any plans for a third installment. But, this being Hollywood, I wouldn't bank on it.
