Jae is twenty-four-year-old comes out prison because her fault is to kill her mom in the past. She attempts to have normal life as everybody. She agrees with her brother to go through Death Valley. They do not know that it is terrible nightmare.
Though it falls short of its aspirations as a character-driven thriller, Deserted is certainly effective as a cautionary tale, and it shows that the increasingly busy Barton is worth keeping an eye on.
