Two trained brothers are in real trouble when the monkey they are training and earning a living comes through. When a monkey is infected by a strange alien object, the two brothers decide to use that strange object instead of the monkey in order to get a great financial fortune. Perhaps things may turn to a different turn when that strange object discovers its hidden powers again.
Ning's unerring knack for illustrating the absurdity of contemporary China through popular genre iconography somewhat compensates for a repetitive second half.
