In this movie, the girl wakes up at night to find her parents in a bad setting in bad conditions. This girl has only 60 seconds to choose which parent should die and maybe face a bad path in front of this murderous criminal.
Some of the plotting feels trite, erratic, but overall I enjoyed this genre entry, as much for Pollak's fussbudget sheriff as the memorably haunting denouement.
But the last third is a disaster, everything that happens both asinine and illogical, and by the time it was over I could have cared less about any of the characters, their plight or if the killer was going to be stopped one smidgen of a single bit.
after several torturous Saw-like moral dilemmas and lots of delving into characters' troubled histories, the film fails to deliver a satisfying ending.
