A mild-mannered deli clerk finally gets a second chance to pursue his high school sweetheart, a notorious female professional wrestler, when she returns for their ten-year reunion.
Amanda Crew has natural comic abilities and also provides an excellent, common sense foil to personalities goofier than her own. She goes for something bigger and broader in Chokeslam, but the movie's too small for her talents.
Had director/co-writer Robert Cuffley narrowed his focus a little, he'd have probably come out with a better film -- or at least one that feels more coherent.
