Amir is a small teenager who tries to avoid trouble constantly while dealing with the drugs he has long been dealing with in Mumbai. Amir faces many challenges in that city, where he tries to escape from the police and eventually reaches his sister Tara. Tara appears to be in prison, trying to protect her brother in prison, and perhaps both will be in a state of permanent despair that may one day end.
Despite excellent symbols and good performances in patches, Beyond The Clouds remains something we have seen and had expected. The uniqueness of the film hardly crosses the crowded bylanes.
Although the plot is padded by a scrapyard dance routine and a couple of songs, this is edgier and grittier than Mumbai's more conventional mainstream movie output.
