Beethoven the Saint Bernard follows Richard Newton and his family of a nagging wife and two bratty kids as they hit the road to California. Along the way, they encounter a gang of bad guys, and we are not sure which side bad luck is on.
From a dramatic standpoint, there is not even the level of emotional depth achieved by the second Beethoven film, but as basic and unimaginative as the slapstick often is, it delivers to its target audience.

Pointless sequel filled with predictable comedic pratfalls.
