In an attempt to help a young teenager girl named Anne, who suffers from a dark past that affects badly on her, John Washington, a successful and courageous memory detective who solve the case through entering people's minds and seeing their memories, struggles against knowing if Anne was a victim or a criminal.
Despite its flawed execution, Anna contains some great ideas and performances. You shouldn't expect the same kind of mind-blowing thrills of something like Inception, but it's at least worth a rental.
... takes a moderately intriguing concept and drowns it amid contrivances and clichés, along with a series of plot twists that gradually become more outrageous than suspenseful.
Dorado proves nimble at chase scenes, and the ending is immensely satisfying: not impossible to predict, per se, but probably the third or fourth possible outcome you imagined.
