The film explores the story of a man who lives in the depths of the Savannah desert. He is Edward, the eldest son of the primate king who at birth is considered very young and may have turned out to be a type of Neanderthal, primarily our ancestors of apes. Over time, Edward faces a different turn from our nature as we will see him learn to walk straight, use tools and make strange jokes.
