Sally Salt is the young daughter of the theater company's leader. She is strong-minded, brave and enthusiastic as she listens to the Baron's adventure, and she saves him from despair and suicide before embarking on his balloon as a stowaway. She forces him to go on a quest for his friends and save the city from destruction.
