Sammy Al-Fayeed (played by Noah Silver) is the son of Barry and Molly Al-Fayeed. He is homosexual and soon, despite the danger, becomes attracted to Abdul, a young man at his uncle's wedding. He enjoys the new lifestyle at the palace, and is determined to stay in Abuddin even when his father wants to go back to California.
