Derrick Bond joins the firm of Stern, Lockhart & Gardner in season two when his Bond & Associates merges with the firm. He brings with him Blake Calamar, an investigator who becomes a rival to the firm's Kalinda Sharma. He is an old friend of Will Gardner who makes a power play not long after joining the firm.
