Wally Maynard, known formally and rather informally as Mr. Maynard, owns the Rammer Jammer, the most popular bar in the bucolic Southern burg of Bluebell, Alabama (or at least the bar where the town's most interesting residents tend to flock). He is the uncle of waitress Wanda Lewis.
