Originally from Queens, New York, Martin has lived and worked in the Twin Cities as an actor, director, musician, and voiceover actor. With work spanning theatre, radio, television, and film, he has enjoyed numerous experiences and people, each one being a part of the learning process. He was first influenced at the ripe age of nine after seeing a production of La Bohème in New York. At that point, he knew that he wanted to do something like that. La Bohème remains his favorite opera. Bitten by the rock and roll bug as a young teenager, Martin thought about pursuing music, but the theatre was and remains his first love. Aside from acting, his passions are motorcycles, a variety of musical instruments, flying, cooking, WNBA basketball (a season ticket holder to the Minnesota Lynx), existential philosophy, and always asking "why?"
