Charles Burmeister

Charles Burmeister's short film "Interview" was an audience favorite at the Sundance Film Festival.His script for "Columbus Day" won the Chesterfield Screenwriting Fellowship sponsored by Paramount Pictures and was named top 30 of 5,500 scripts in the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship.As a director, he won the Special Jury Award for Documentary Film at the Independent Film Festival of Boston.He was awarded the James A. Michener Fellowship in Screenwriting at the University of Texas where he received his M.F.A. in Screenwriting. Show less «
