Jamie Kaye was born in Surrey, England in 1999 to sports coaches Paul and Shirley Kaye. Having been interested in an acting career throughout childhood, his parents enrolled him in weekend musical theatre training. At age 11, he made his professional debut in 'The Wizard of Oz' in London's West End. From there he went on to perform in other London productions, such as 'Matilda the Musical' and 'Singin' in the Rain'. After studying at Sylvia Young Theatre School and The BRIT School, Jamie was keen to pursue a career in TV and film. He left school at age 16 to focus on his career, and was soon cast in TNT's 'The Alienist' as the young prostitute, Sally.
