Michael Berry made his feature film debut with the border drama Frontera which he directed and co-wrote. The film stars Ed Harris, Michael Pena, Eva Longoria, Amy Madigan and Aden Young. Frontera opened in Theaters on September 5 2014. Following Frontera, Berry wrote the screenplay and directed the musical feature film Stuck, starring Giancarlo Esposito, Amy Madigan, Ashanti, Omar Chaparro, Arden Cho and Gerard Canonico. Stuck is scheduled to be finished with post production and released in 2016. Previously Berry directed and co-produced two award winning short films, Mira and Day of the Grackle As an actor Berry appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award, Pulitzer Prize winning, Next To Normal. Other Broadway and national tour credits include: Les Miserables. Sunset Boulevard, The Who's, Tommy, Mamma Mia. Off Broadway Berry appeared in a critically acclaimed production of Moby Dick as Starbuck, and was nominated for a Drama Desk award for Best featured actor in a Play. Film: Beyond The Law, Limbo, Frontera TV: Six Degrees, Renegade, Young Riders. Berry received a scholarship to the United States International University, School Of Performing And Visual Arts, and In New York studied with such luminaries as Austin Pendleton, Wynn Handman and Uta Hagen.
