Karen Cumby

Karen aGODthang Cumby is from Fort Worth, Texas she later moved to the Dallas area. Although she has been acting and singing her whole life, she began acting professionally in 2017 on stage. In this short time, Karen has performed in several stage plays and is now making her transition to film & television. Her love for the arts is her driving force to pursue all it has to offer. She is dedicated to her craft, adding classes and training quarterly. Directors, as well as cast members, love her because she comes in ready to work and learn; her ability to implement directions quickly is one of her many prize attributes. Karen never regards apart as small, and she states, "everything I do is major and worthy of my best." Karen is a singer, songwriter, actor, soon to be publisher author who is looking for the next opportunity to add value to an already phenomenal cast. Karen has the heart to give often found feeding the hungry. While she believes in prayer, she knows prayer without action benefits no one. Sharing her life's motto daily, a hungry man/woman doesn't need prayer alone; he/she needs something to eat. Karen seeks to charge each one to feed one, opening the eyes of everyone she meets that hunger doesn't always mean homeless. "The person right next to you clothed and sheltered could be hungry.
