Todd grew up in the North suburbs of Chicago where he attended Highland Park High School. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Fine Art Photography. His grandfather's '87 Pontiac Bonneville was beaten with a golf club and then later crushed by a telephone pole during two episodes of MTV's Punk'd.
