Ken Smedberg

He was born in Oak Park Illinois to a middle class family in the Machine Tool Business. After six and a half years in Hollywood, he returned to the business. His undergraduate work was done at Valparaiso University in Indiana and graduate work was done at the University of North Carolina. His biggest break ended up as his debut. Sneaking into Paramount Studios posing as an agent, he went to Bing Crosby Productions and when they saw he had previously worked with Kathy Crosby, they gave him a bit in a soap opera called "Bright Promise" with Dabney Coleman. He ran to SAG with his AFTRA card and joined - that was a big day in his life.He enjoyed his time in Hollywood and still had friends there and great memories of people who always gave 100%.
