Pete was born in Eugene, OR and raised in Wyoming (Jackson, Casper, Sheridan and Laramie). He grew up around music and the theater, often taking part in the many productions produced/directed by his parents' own company, "Spontaneous Theater Productions" (a now over 50-year old company that his parents still occasionally operate). Since graduating with a B.A. from the University of Wyoming and an M.F.A. from the National Theater Conservatory, Mr. Simpson now celebrates 21-years as an New York-based actor, having performed a wide span of principle roles with over 20 theater directors/companies in venues all over the world. Along with his many acting credits, he also performed modern dance, musical compositions, has supplied choreography/music for several productions, has performed stand up (Caroline's on Broadway, etc.) and served in host/MC roles (most recently for the popular storytelling podcast, "The Moth").
