Alberto David Mercado is an active and aspiring actor who was born and raised in San Diego California. He discovered his passion and talent for acting performing in various middle and high school plays. Alberto also competed in forensics speech and debate in both high school and college. In 2005 he earned 4th in the state of California for thematic interpretation. In 2008 he went on to win gold at the Phi Rho Pi national tournament. He eventually went on to study communications and film at San Diego State University.
