Irish born Mel Hamill has a lot of pep in his step as an actor, comedian and writer. Mel came to New York after completing his study in childcare and creative writing. Mel began his career in entertainment performing in children's fairytale theaters, stand-up comedy circuit where some of his routines can be heard on Sirius XM satellite radio and as a local Cable TV host/writer for a weekly lifestyle show in NY.In 2011, Mel wrote, produced and starred in his first film Sour Milk (2011) featured in the Irish Voice and the Queens Chronicle. In 2012, Mel wrote, produced and starred in his second film Wonder the Beyond.Mel Hamill recently got picked as a finalist for the Script Pipeline's 2014 Great Movie Idea contest.
