Mark MacDonald was born on February 25th, 1984, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada alongside his identical twin brother Mickey MacDonald to parents Joseph and Irene. The family, which included the twins' older brother Patrick MacDonald, moved frequently, residing in Fort McMurray, Calgary, and Edmonton, Alberta before returning to Ontario.Mark attended Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, and earned a Student Union Award for his contributions to promoting student music as well as an award for his campus radio show. Mark has travelled extensively throughout North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, spending over a year abroad at age 20. His first film role was in the Dennis Lee film Jesus Henry Christ (2012).
