Dan Slater

Dan Slater is a Toronto Based Director/Writer known for the award winning short film, Fin, and feature films White Night, and Ashes.After graduating from York University Dan founded Multiname Productions, a production company dedicated to the creation of thoughtful character driven content focusing on story's that inspire. In 2014 he won the Irving Avrich Award at the Toronto Intentional film festival for his short film, Fin, which tackles mental illness and how its viewed in our society. To this date he's had films play in festivals in over a dozen countries and has participated in art festivals including Luminato and Nuit Blanche. His most recent work, White Night, an ambitious feature film collected a group of five directors, 40 actors and 150 crew to shoot a feature film in one night, is set to release in 2017. Show less «
