Dan Hannon

Dan Hannon has developed original screenplays for Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount Pictures and Warner Independent Pictures, as well as highly successful production houses including Happy Madison Productions and Di Bonaventura Pictures. He also co-wrote independent teen thriller "The Shortcut," released by Starz / Anchor Bay Entertainment. Hannon made his directorial debut with award-winning short "The Pond," starring Alicia Witt and David Morse. Shorts International is distributing the film, which was released on iTunes and Amazon following an international film festival run, limited theatrical exhibition and television debut. Born and raised in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, Hannon continues to advocate filmmaking in the New England area as co-founder of the New Hampshire Film Festival and its Young Filmmakers Workshop for high school students.
