Diane Aubrey's acting career spanned from the age of 18 while she was still at drama school, when in Grip of the Strangler with Boris Karloff. Immediately on leaving drama school she went straight into television, a BBC production of Gorky's Lower Depths. She worked consistently till marrying Troy Kennedy Martin and having her first child. After that she made a brief come back in the 70s with some film, some TV commercials and a play in London directed by Timothy West.
