Michael started his film career in Toronto, Canada. Originally studying acting in both high school and college, he then began pursuing writing and directing his own independent films. Some of Michael's hobbies include amateur stand up comedy, mixed martial arts, and surfing. He first realized he wanted to make movies when he would use his G.I.
