Michayla Brown

Michayla Chenxi Griffith Brown was adopted at 7.5 months from Hunan, China in 2005. Michayla made her professional theatre debut as "10 Year Old Tommy" in "The Who's Tommy," at East West Players, the Nation's premier Asian American Theatre. The following year Michayla won multiple awards including an Ovation Award for her portrayal of "Young Peter Allen" in "The Boy from Oz" at Celebration Theatre, an award-winning LA-based theatre company dedicated to telling the stories of the LGBT community. She has sung at the House of Blues in Hollywood and, an accomplished dancer, Michayla competes with Center Stage LA. A left-handed Capricorn, Michayla lived in Brooklyn, New York until she was 5 yrs old, and now lives in Los Angeles with her mom, dad and two terriers, Cara and Hero. She can be seen in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)_ and Me, Myself & I (2017)_, as well as commercials for Popeye's and Target. Show less «
