New dramatic events come up in the third season of the 'Tyrant' that follow the ruling family of Abuddin and the son of this family hates the tradition and the violence in his country so he leaves in United States to return after 20 years. This season starts with preparation for fair elections, after Barry set as a president.
The show can probably keep spinning this same story in circles for another season, but by then, even the desire to see it move past that point and into more interesting territory will have passed.
Even with the introduction of Chris Noth as a tough U.S. general leading troops and pitching woo at a main character, I'm not sure Tyrant was worth bringing back for this additional attempt to turn it into quality television.
