It has a lot to say about the world at large and it does it without being preachy. The students at this school are human beings and they are full and fleshed out.
Even with all its over-the-topness and cliches, by the end of the season, there were characters I was rooting for and people I was shipping. It's not great television, but it is a fun ride and you know what you're getting.
There is nothing tame about Tiny Pretty Things, and while it's sure to not be everyone's cup of tea, if you're into the genre of messy teen drama then this is one you can't miss.
