Goldblum offers a realistic model for a range of events and things around us. Each episode in the series focused on things we love so much like sneakers or ice cream. This series embodies a series of deceptively familiar objects, revealing the amazing links, science and history of those things.

He is, genuinely or performatively, presenting himself as exactly the person you'd hope or think he is and no matter where he goes, people are excited or bemused to be in the presence of his Jeff Goldblum-ness.
Though it's miles away from Parts Unknown, The World According to Jeff Goldblum is perhaps the closest new program to capture that indescribable sense of discovery and pleasure and to deliver it through such a wildly magnetic personality.
Goldblum seems very much in life the talkative eccentric hepcat he is in pictures - it's impossible to tell when he's on script or just telling you what he knows. I would subscribe just to watch more of this.
Goldblum's genius is for rendering a child's overwhelming need for attention in a pure, nonirritating form, and there's a theme running through "The World According to Jeff Goldblum" that relates to that.
