If the final twist is that Causley's murdered wife, Carole, was actually abducted by Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson in a stolen Tardis, it'll come as something of an anti-climax.
True, the series - made by Simon Cowell's Syco company - couldn't find out what it couldn't find out, if you get my drift, but it was sold to us as one thing and turned out to be another.
