In this documentary series about the world of crime and risk, we live a series of exciting and powerful events. The series begins in Oklahoma, where a strange and savage young woman appears in 1982 in Ada, Oklahoma, which may be a cause of concern. On the other hand, Tommy tries to engage in numerous conversations with the police about the mysterious disappearance of Dennis. Authorities are continuing to kill Deby as her mother struggles to cope again.
Watching The Innocent Man is like watching a genre calcify in real time, stirring up a rudimentary sense of curiosity and outrage while running through every true-crime cliche imaginable with little sense of focus or urgency or formal experimentation.
It's not exactly an artistic flop. It's also not an artistic masterpiece. It's a formulaic, non-boundary-pushing, 100% vanilla iteration of its genre (not surprising, given the source).
