The Facts of Life is pretty mild compared to most of today's sitcoms, but it does address a variety of strong teen-related issues that are still very relevant today.
The series tackled teen social issues (drug use, peer pressure, eating disorders) long before it was in vogue, yet at the same time had an innocence not currently seen in today's teen shows.
