A young Bruce Wayne is in his third year of trying to establish himself as Batman, protector of Gotham City. Living in Gotham, a metropolis where shadows run long and deep, beneath elevated train tracks, this younger Batman will confront each of his familiar foes for the first time.
The episodes relied heavily on action scenes, and tried to dress up the look of the characters with an edgy redesign that wasn't exactly well executed. It's still watchable, however.
While The Batman never achieved the critical success, or fan following, of its predecessor, it was a great show in its own right for attempting to do something fresh with many familiar characters.
