Season 3 opens with Daphne being ordered to do community service at a free clinic after the blackmail incident. There she meets Campbell, a former snowboarder who sustained serious injuries after an accident. Her relationship with John continues to be tense.
There were definitely a few bright spots, but it's pretty apparent the people we've come to love will spend a bit more time on the bottom before finding their way back toward some sort of happiness.
It's nice to see Switched at Birth push its characters into new territory based on consequences from earlier actions, rather than just create issues out of thin air.
