The events of this dramatic series are about Captain Woodrow Cole, now retired from Rangers where he was appointed by the Eastern Railroad Baron for a dangerous mission. Cole must track Joey Garza, a new type of murderer who is killed from a distance by a gun. Cole joined in that mission to his old companion Pea Eye, which is a long journey to South Texas and the Mexican side of the border but collides with the past he faces unexpectedly.
