Through a long series of powerful drama that we are living here with a space station of the Union whose task lies in the guards of opening a hole that settles on the far side of the galaxy. The series begins with Garak - the last spy in the city, possibly a former spy for the Cardes government - to prove a powerful mystery to Dr Bashir. On the other hand, an alien comes from the other side of a hole and probably has problems with the ship but is very reluctant to accept any help. But in the end, President O'Brien discovers that he has a dangerous secret.

You can see the show struggling with its identity, wanting a rougher and grittier feel, never quite pulling it off but creating just enough turmoil to make it interesting.
