Vicky Ellis is the most famous female queer in the state, where Samantha Stone is trying to make someone else to compete for the Miss America title. Vicky is trying to make the girls beauty queens in the face of many contest competitions, so as to prove that she can turn any girl into a global beauty queen. In the end, when it comes to its beautiful integrity, it may change completely, which is entirely related to Vicky's reputation.
In the grand scheme, Queen America pales in comparison to its forerunners. That doesn't mean it's a waste of time, though. And who knows, maybe it has a few surprises up its sleeve down the road.
In the series, a black comedy (or is it a drama with occasional jokes?) about the desperate hangers-on in the beauty pageant scene, Zeta-Jones feels constrained by the show's sensibility and its sour lack of ambition.
