As Outlander resumes and turns away from the war strategizing that characterized much of season two, it feels like a different, but no less compelling show, and one focused, to my delight, more on personal relationships than political conflict.
They may look like no one you've seen in real life, but the intensity and awkwardness and understanding that exist in their relationship are easily recognizable to anyone who's ever been in love.
