It is a series of wonderful comedies presented by six strange people and different from ordinary people. These people go through a different experience of their lives and conduct obscene and sometimes strange behavior, which may be quite controversial. Events begin where Jana plans to showcase pet art. Meanwhile, Keith seems to have big ideas for a new store, and Becky struggles to fit in with the college.
What should Chris Lilley do next? It's a question worth asking because, if you have watched his new Netflix series, Lunatics, you will have realised that the thing he currently does isn't very good.
I'm sure Lilley is capturing different Australian types and language registers better than I can appreciate, but still the whole thing looks and feels like a ragbag of choices that neither hang together per character or per show.
The show is set up as an irreverent, bold exploration of weirdos and identity - Lilley probably wants you to be outraged - but it mostly feels like a bunch of tame sketches that overstayed their welcome.
